CloudScript.io NikoNiko Calendar
CloudScript.io NikoNiko Calendar is a Confluence Cloud app for tracking how a team is feeling over time. It brings the Niko-niko calendar, a simple Agile practice in which team members record their daily mood, onto a Confluence page, so a team can capture moods as they happen and look back over them later, which is particularly useful at retrospective time.
The app exists to answer a question that is otherwise hard to reconstruct after the fact, namely "how was I feeling on this day last week, or last sprint", by making each day's mood quick to record and easy to review across a whole sprint.
What it does
You add the NikoNiko macro to a Confluence page and configure it through the standard Confluence configuration panel. Team members then record their mood, and the calendar builds up a picture of the team's mood over the sprint. The main view shows the whole sprint's mood at a glance, and a range of themes is available so the calendar can be styled to suit the team.
Data and privacy
The app stores a single mood indicator per entry, a number from zero to five, linked to your Confluence accountId (an identifier Atlassian treats as safe to use for this purpose). It does not store other personally identifiable information. Because NikoNiko is an Atlassian Connect app, this data is held on the app's hosted backend rather than inside Atlassian's environment.
