CloudScript.io NikoNiko Calendar Terms of Use
Effective 7 August 2026.
About these terms
These are Provider-Specific Terms that supplement the Bonterms Standard End User Agreement, Version 1.0 (the "Standard Agreement"). The Standard Agreement governs your use of CloudScript.io NikoNiko Calendar and is incorporated by reference, except where these Provider-Specific Terms expressly override or supplement it. Where a provision of these Provider-Specific Terms conflicts with the Standard Agreement, these Provider-Specific Terms prevail to the extent of the conflict, and in all other respects the Standard Agreement continues to apply. Capitalised terms used and not defined here have the meanings given to them in the Standard Agreement. The current text of the Bonterms Standard End User Agreement, Version 1.0 is published at https://bonterms.com/standard/end-user-agreement-v1/.
Who we are
CloudScript.io NikoNiko Calendar is provided by Cloudscript Pty Ltd (ABN 14 700 662 362) ("we", "us"), an Australian company, as a plugin available on the Atlassian Marketplace for Forge. By installing or using CloudScript.io NikoNiko Calendar, you agree to these terms.
The service
CloudScript.io NikoNiko Calendar is a macro for Confluence Cloud. Placed on a page, it renders a calendar grid for a list of people the page's editor configures, over a date range the configuration sets. Each person can record one value per day for themselves on each calendar, chosen from a scale of either three or five options, and the grid shows those values for the configured people across the range. A calendar's entries belong to that calendar alone, several labelled calendars can share one page, and an optional label names the question a calendar asks. The macro can also show a team trend row, derived at render time from the values already displayed in the grid, which is on by default and can be turned off in the configuration.
The macro offers three visual themes and is available in English and French. A single macro instance shows up to 50 people over a window of up to 35 days. People are added through a picker that searches your Confluence site's user directory.
The app records five items per entry: the Atlassian account identifier of the person the entry belongs to, the date, the value entered, the time the entry was written, and a reference to the calendar it was recorded on. It stores no free-text content of any kind (a calendar's optional label is part of your page content, not the app's storage). Display names and avatars are read from Confluence each time the macro renders and are not stored by the app. The app makes no network request to any host outside Atlassian's platform. What the app stores, where it is stored, and how long it is kept are described in the Privacy Policy.
Access and licensing
CloudScript.io NikoNiko Calendar is licensed through the Atlassian Marketplace under Atlassian's standard marketplace terms for Forge apps. Your use of Atlassian's host product (Confluence) remains subject to your separate agreement with Atlassian.
The app is a paid app and it checks your licence when it runs. Where Atlassian reports the licence for your site as inactive, the macro stops working and shows a message in place of the calendar, for reading as well as for entering values. Entries already stored are not deleted by a licence lapsing, and the app resumes when an active licence is restored.
Restrictions on use
Except as expressly permitted by these terms, by the Standard Agreement, or by Atlassian's marketplace terms for Forge apps, you must not: reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of CloudScript.io NikoNiko Calendar; resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or redistribute it outside the Atlassian Marketplace; use it to build a competing product or service; remove or obscure any proprietary notice in it; or use it in a manner that breaches Atlassian's acceptable use policies for the host product.
Intellectual property
CloudScript.io NikoNiko Calendar, including its source code, design, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Cloudscript Pty Ltd and its licensors. These terms grant you a licence to use the app as described above; they do not transfer any ownership or intellectual property rights to you. The values your users enter, and the configuration of each macro instance, are yours.
Data handling
For details on what data CloudScript.io NikoNiko Calendar collects, where it is stored and processed, and how long it is retained, see our Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf, the Data Processing Addendum applies as described below.
Third-party and open-source components
CloudScript.io NikoNiko Calendar is built on the Atlassian Forge platform and
includes the following third-party runtime components: React and React DOM,
used for the macro's user interface, and date-fns, used for date arithmetic in
the calendar, all licensed under the MIT Licence; and the Atlassian Forge SDK
packages @forge/bridge (frontend), @forge/api,
@forge/kvs and @forge/resolver (backend), which are
provided by Atlassian under Atlassian's developer terms. The calendar grid and
the theme artwork are implemented in the app's own source, with no charting or
icon library.
Security measures
This section sets out the security posture specific to CloudScript.io NikoNiko Calendar and supplements the security provisions of the Standard Agreement. The app runs entirely on Atlassian's Forge platform. It stores its entries in Forge hosted storage on your own Confluence site, partitioned per installation by the platform, and it operates no server, database, or other infrastructure of our own. Its Forge manifest declares no external permissions of any kind, so the app makes no outbound network request, and the platform blocks any request it has not declared in advance. The app requests four permission scopes: read access to Confluence content details (used to search the user directory and to resolve display names and avatars at render time), read access to content permission metadata (used to verify a caller's permission on a page before entries are served or recorded), application storage, and the personal-data reporting scope that Atlassian requires for its own account-closure and reporting flow.
The platform-level and vendor-level practices that apply to the app (Atlassian Forge's own sandboxing and egress controls, authentication on the developer and publishing accounts, and our vulnerability-handling process) are described in the site-wide Security Policy at https://cloudscript.io/security and are not restated here.
Data processing addendum
A Data Processing Addendum (DPA) is issued as Schedule 1 to these Provider-Specific Terms and is published at https://cloudscript.io/apps/nikoniko/dpa. It forms part of this agreement and applies to personal data we process on your behalf through the app. Where the DPA conflicts with these terms in respect of personal data, the DPA prevails.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of CloudScript.io NikoNiko Calendar after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your Confluence site. On uninstall, the app's stored entries are removed by Atlassian in line with the Forge hosted storage data lifecycle, described in Atlassian's own documentation at https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/forge/storage-reference/hosted-storage-data-lifecycle/. We hold no copy of that data anywhere else, because the app writes to no store other than Forge hosted storage on your own site.
Separately from uninstall, where Atlassian reports through its personal-data reporting flow that an Atlassian account has been closed, the app erases every entry belonging to that account within one reporting cycle. That cycle runs every seven days.
The app provides no export function, so entries cannot be exported in a structured format from within the app. Values are visible in the rendered calendar on the Confluence page while the app is installed and licensed.
Disclaimer of warranties
Except as expressly stated in these terms or the Standard Agreement, CloudScript.io NikoNiko Calendar is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cloudscript Pty Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of CloudScript.io NikoNiko Calendar, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any guarantee, warranty, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The courts of New South Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your place of residence.
